Pink Azalea

The pink azalea bush is flowering probably the best it ever has since planted.  The beautiful flowers are a lovely addition to this Louisville, Kentucky neighborhood.

White Azalea in Louisville Kentucky

Years ago, this plant was given to me by a person I helped with some computer issues. It is growing in the shade so it does not have a lot of blooms.

Red Violet Azalea in the Sun

The azalea flowering shrub are blooming in the Louisville Kentucky area right now. I was at a lost to name what color this is so I looked at a Crayola box of crayons and it seemed to match the color red-violet best.

Apparently this plant is part of the Rhododendron genus.
